Since returning to music production in 2021, Radianation has explored new wave and alternative rock, most recently showcased on albums like Casting Spells. With the release of Wake Me Up From This Nightmare, Radianation makes a decisive return to electronic music, reconnecting with the project’s earliest roots. This new EP is a direct nod to the 1990s release Don’t Wake Me Up From My Dream, embracing the progressive electronic sound that first defined Radianation.

A highlight of the EP is “Bleeding in Digital,” which also marks the debut of Radianation’s first official music video. Created entirely by Andrew N. Aebersold, the video is composed of custom AI-generated visuals, all edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. The result is a striking visual experience that complements the track’s immersive electronic textures.

The inspiration for “Bleeding in Digital” traces back to 2010, when the song was originally written after a viewing of Tron: Legacy. The film’s futuristic aesthetic and exploration of digital realities left a lasting impression, influencing both the music and the video’s visual style. Drawing from the neon-lit, otherworldly landscapes of the Tron universe, the music video delves into themes of simulation theory and the multiverse—concepts that have fascinated Andrew since childhood, beginning with the original Tron film. Through AI-driven visuals and a narrative that questions the boundaries between reality and simulation, the video offers a fresh perspective on digital existence and personal identity.
